Ayurvedic Remedies for Pimple problems

Ayurveda and acne

Ayurveda is one of the traditional ways in India to heal any problem and they have a very different perspective. According to Ayurveda, an imbalance in the three doshas i.e. Vata, Pitta, and Kapha in the body leads to the problem of a pimple. This problem affects the face, back, and shoulders. When pitta increases it leads to pimple eruption because the body gets heat up and it affects the tissue underneath the skin. Imbalance of vatta leads to the problem of indigestion and the accumulation of toxins. The overproduction of sebum is caused by an imbalance of Kapha.   • Basil and Turmeric

One of the best ways to treat the problem of pimple is with the use of basil leaves and turmeric. It is because they contain an antibacterial property which helps to prevent any disease and infection. Take basil leaves (20) and turmeric (2 teaspoons). Make a paste of them by grinding them and then store it in a jar. Take one teaspoon of the mixture and mix in water, consume it 20 minutes before any meal. For best results, consume it 3 times a day.

  • Neem leaves and rose water

Neem is antibacterial which means it regulates the oil production and helps to repair the skin which is affected by a pimple. Take Neem leaves (5 stems) and rose water (2 teaspoons). For 3 minutes boil the Neem leaves and grind them properly. Then add rose water to it and apply it on the face. Rinse it once it is completely dry. Apply it 4 to 4 time a week.

  • Lemon

Lemon contains citric acid which helps in killing the bacteria. Make a paste of lemon, kalaunji (seeds of fennel flower), and milk. Before going to bed, apply it on the face. In the morning, use lukewarm water to wash your face. You will definitely see the results once you apply this paste.

  • Sesame seed

One of the best ayurvedic treatment for pimple is sesame seed. Soak them overnight in water and then make a paste out of it. Apply this paste for ten minutes and then wash it. You will surely notice a great difference and the problem will go away quickly.

  • Jamun (Syzygium cumini)

Jamun seeds are very helpful in reducing the growth of pimple. You should apply Jamun powder on the pimple to prevent the problem quickly.
